Bennett University Hosts Global AI Summit, Sets New Research Benchmarks

Bennett University concluded its three-day Global AI Summit 2025, positioning itself as a major contributor to international AI research and education. Held on campus from November 19 to 21, the summit gathered leading researchers, industry pioneers and academic leaders from around the world to discuss the future of artificial intelligence and India’s expanding role in the $1.8 trillion global AI market projected for 2030.
The event opened with remarks from BU leadership and senior representatives from global tech companies, including Microsoft and Apple. A key moment was the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Bennett University and the University of Exeter, aimed at boosting global collaboration, joint research and student exchange opportunities.
The summit drew strong international participation, with speakers from Northwestern University, Sussex University and Swinburne University of Technology, alongside experts from IITs and NITs who served as session chairs. One of the major attractions was Project Showcase 2.0, an exhibition featuring 100+ innovative student projects across multiple tracks, viewed by more than 600 attendees.
From 1,850 global submissions, only 295 high-quality papers were selected for presentation. These research papers, covering areas such as AI in cybersecurity, healthcare applications and quantum-inspired technologies will be published in IEEE Xplore and indexed in SCOPUS.

Day two focused on AI ethics and real-world impact, with insights from global organizations and a keynote from Google on its latest AI models. The summit also hosted the IEEE Women in Engineering Meet & Greet to encourage diversity in tech.
The event wrapped up with a panel featuring leaders from Pepsico, Hitachi GlobalLogic and TCS, discussing AI’s influence on businesses and future talent needs. With this summit, Bennett University reinforced its role as a key voice in shaping responsible, future-ready AI innovation.
