IIT and BITS Pilani Signs Collaborative MoU

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay and BITS Pilani have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) to collaborate on research, innovation, and skill development.

The partnership will see both institutions working together on joint research projects, utilising their respective facilities and engaging in third-party collaborations to advance their shared goals.Both the institutes will focus on ecosystem development, which will involve close collaboration between academia and industry by hosting visiting faculty and forming pre-competitive consortia for research in emerging technologies.

The MoU will establish a framework for collaboration to foster academic and industrial engagement, promote knowledge transfer, and develop technologies that address societal challenges.

The primary objectives of this partnership include joint research projects, consultancy services, student internships, faculty exchanges, and the development of cutting-edge technologies.
