Murali Konareddy, Founder
India produces numerous brilliant minds through its eminent institutions like IITs, still the overall Indian educational quality remains inadequate. Why? Tragically, most of the alumni of these distinguished institutions left India, and when they come back, they rarely invest in the country’s education sector. Murali Konareddy (Founder, Learners PU College), an alumnus of IIT-Kanpur, whose mission is to uplift the lives of children by establishing an educational centre in Karnataka, is not among them.
The passion that got ignited during his tenure as a math teacher, while he was a student, was blazing like wildfire, when Murali, after working with Infosys for 17 years(four years in U.S. & five years in China), returned from China where he had setup & headed the Infosys Education Centre in Shanghai. Although he was getting decent recompense, won plentiful honours, and gained sufficient knowledge there, he never let go off his dream. Cruising through
challenges with relentless aspiration, he replicated the same proven model in India in 2011 by incepting Learners PU College.

Up-Skilling Students
Learners PU College believes in teaching students not only content, but enabling them to become independent learners to enhance their performance and make them top-grade students by leveraging & assimilating study technology (train the trainee to train themselves), 5W1H framework (what, when, why, where, who & how), and mind mapping tool (enhancing memory power). The college leverages technology to teach students through videos, diagrams, animations, and other best resources available on the internet. “We apply principles of engineering to remove obstacles & barriers that students face in the learning process,” states Murali. Rather than filtering students based on their past performance, Learners PU College conducts a diagnostic test to test their basic skills in Maths and provides customized foundation course for each students to build strong foundation in Math & Science.

competitive exams, the college upskills the students in these areas by arranging industry visits to help them get hands-on experience. In fact the previous students and guest faculty from the industry are also invited to the college to share their stories with the students, and the college even invites & sends students from/to China. Thanks to this unique learner’s methodology, Learners PU College has produced many elite professionals who are working in top companies.

Appreciating this noble work, the Mysore Urban Development authority has allocated it two acres of land in Mysore to build a big campus, thus facilitating the college in up-skilling the students. With this new campus, Learners PU College targets to accommodate more students, enhance its infrastructure, and become the best institute in India.
