Ranjana Chabra,FounderKids at Little Marvels Early Learning Center, located in Dwaraka, New Delhi are always busy. With a new game to play every day, every minute, there is not even a single dull moment at Little Marvels. However, this fun environment is not meant for wasting time. Every game or activity that Little Marvels conducts teaches the kids some importance life lessons. Ranjana Chabra, Founder of little Marvels, call it as ABCD or Activity Based Child Development. "It is a well-rounded program that nurtures the love for learning and is designed keeping the child at the center. Our objective is to nurture
creativity, autonomy and discipline in every child; to preach the importance of values, tolerance, respect, personal hygiene, cooperation, and love for books through an active, play based environment," explains Chabra.

The ABCD way of learning is unique blend of the seven principles of the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), the Montessori tools of leaning and the art of play way. The curriculum involves the child participation in the activities and supports kids with positive experiences fostering love for lifelong learning. While, the themed classrooms of the preschool make learning a fun, the display boards and the playtime resources are all set to match with the theme. Learning is also supported by a bookroom with a collection of books for each age group. "Even though play is a fun experience for the child, many skills can be learned through play. Play helps children to learn relationship and social skills," says Chabra. Little Marvels has a creative play area equipped with a gym zone, sand and water play area, music and sound station, weather station and a nature talk zone.
"Every parent leaves their child to us with a lot of expectations. We as a team work to keep the word of creating marvels. We call ourselves as marvel makers," says Ranjana. From the day of admissions, the team analyzes the child and focuses on their areas of interest. To bring out a positive change in the behavior, they give importance to personal attention for each child. A special feature of the preschool is the stable student teacher ratio based on the age groups, which they have been maintaining since its inception in 2013. Ranjana considers the grouping to be very important and says that according to the international standards, the best ratio to be followed is 1:5 for the kids of 2-3 age and 1:12 for 3-4 age groups. "With an objective of creative learning and innovative thinking we work to make a beautiful gem out of each child," claims Ranjana. Nowadays, preschools are gaining more importance as it is the right age to make them ready to learn. Little marvels ELC with a motto "love to learn and learn to love" assures the readiness of the kids for a better starting.
