Sharad Institute of Technology College of Engineering, is one of the leading colleges in Western Maharashtra. It operates under the auspices of the Shri Shamrao Patil Yadravkar Educational and Charitable Trust, which oversees various educational institutes, including those specializing in Engineering, Polytechnic, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Nursing, Junior College, ITI, and Sharad Ayurvedic Hospital. Established in 2009, the Engineering College now accommodates 759 students in B.Tech programs and 24 students in M.Tech programs. The Institute is approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E.) New Delhi, recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and affiliated with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere.

Sharad Institute is accredited with an ‘A’ Grade by NAAC, and all eligible programs are accredited by NBA, New Delhi. The institute has also been granted Autonomous Institute status by the UGC. The campus spans 10 acres of green space, providing a serene environment for education and innovation. B.Tech programs offered include Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation and Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Civil, Electronics and Computer Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering.
