Growing at a CAGR of 10.9 percent from FY 17-18 and expecting to reach a CAGR of 13.10 percent touching INR 2,660.20 billion by FY23 from INR 1,436 billion in FY18, India's media consumption has evolved almost nine times that of the United States and two times that of China. It has created employment for about 3.5-4 million people (direct and indirect employment in CY 2017). This has been ably supported by the media and journalism sector, where REVA University's REVA School of Arts and Humanities is playing a central role. REVA gives hands-on training to students equipping them to perform in the fast-developing technology-driven media industry, in well-equipped world-class studio setup with acoustic panel wall construction, field and studio cameras, and digital SLR cameras for still photography, Located in Kattigenahalli, Bengaluru, REVA has adopted action-reflection-modelling pedagogy method for continuous mentoring to fuel their students' ambition of achieving comprehensive career goals. Candidates shortlisted on merit basis are the eligible students of REVA who can select media courses such as certificate programmes in designing, video editing, media entrepreneurship, sound recording, visual communication, branding and marketing and foreign languages, along with programmes in Visual Communication, Digital Media and Corporate Communication. The University is associated with MESC - an MHRD initiative, for aligning the Bachelor Programmes in Media and Entertainment with the industry-led NSQF (National Skills Qualifications Framework) based courses. Ruling the Teaching-Learning Procedure
To make the classes interesting and sustaining for students, REVA uses ICT-based pedagogy, You-Tube and other digital links apart from Moodle and e-assignments. Notes and assignments are shared using Moodle. Taking a step further, REVA has also introduced tab-based assessment for students that make the evaluation pro-cess error-free and quick. Besides, there is a digital studio for re-cording and reporting news. To meet the training and placement requirement, REVA's Training and Placement Cell inculcates skills such as communication, professionalism, attitude, ethics, flexibility, tolerance for ambiguity and relationships that are keys to success in the corporate world. By doing so, REVA helps students to become successful in campus placement activities. There is a Corporate Resource Center orientation and induction programmes, industry-oriented projects, summer internships and training programmes.

Casting students in extracurricular activities like music, dance, drama, sports and yoga, REVA fosters students to participate and win at intercollegiate sports tournaments. Weaving extracurricular activities with a Swith Social Outreach Programmes for making students' socially responsible, REVA introduced Jagruti for spreading awareness on various social issues. This year, the youth of REVA is leading Jagruti towards Global Warming- an attempt to create awareness about the consequences of global warming. Different clubs and societies at REVA University further drive bonding between students coming from varied cultures, religions, ethnics and societies. HHigh academic standards earned REVA 3rd position in New Universities category by KSURF. The university is rated as Gold Band by QS-I-GAUGE. The initiatives taken for students' betterment has brought REVA the `Most Preferred University Providing Global Environment to International Students' award from WBR Corp at the House of Commons, London, UK. The University also received the `Best University of India (South) 2019' award from Dialogue India. Piling all the programmes at the university campus, REVA's digital learning approach is simplifying learning for the students.
