  • Shalby Academy partners with BSDU to offer B.Voc. Degrees in allied health and paramedical sciences.
  • Courses follow Swiss Dual Learning Model, combining hospital training with classroom learning.
  • Students may get direct job opportunities at Shalby Hospitals after completing the program.

Shalby Academy, the academic arm of Shalby Ltd., has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU), Jaipur, to introduce new Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) degree programs in the healthcare sector. The goal is to train job ready professionals for India’s growing need for skilled paramedical staff.

Under this partnership, students can enroll in three specialized B.Voc. Programs in Medical Laboratory Technology, Operation Theatre & Anesthesia Technology, and Medical Radiology Imaging Technology. These courses are designed using the Swiss Dual Learning Model, where students receive both academic and hands on clinical training.

The structure includes four days a week of practical training at Shalby Hospitals and two days of classroom sessions at BSDU. This model ensures students gain real world exposure to hospital environments and medical technology while building strong theoretical knowledge.

Training will take place in Shalby’s advanced hospital facilities in Jaipur, giving students direct access to modern equipment and patient care protocols. Top performing students will also have a chance for preferential hiring at Shalby Hospitals, offering a smooth transition from education to employment.

This is Shalby Academy’s 11th academic partnership in India and second in Rajasthan. The collaboration reflects its commitment to bridging the gap between education and healthcare industry needs.

The new programs are expected to play a key role in addressing the shortage of skilled healthcare workers in India by producing well rounded, practically trained graduates ready to work in hospitals, labs, and other medical facilities.
