India and UAE Deepen Education Ties with Pradhan's Visit
- Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan visits UAE to deepen educational collaboration.

Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan will travel to the UAE from September 10 to 11 to foster closer cooperation in education. His agenda includes inaugurating India’s first international Atal Incubation Centre at the IIT Delhi, Abu Dhabi campus and launching the new Dubai campus of IIM Ahmedabad.
During his visit, he will hold meetings with senior UAE education leaders, policymakers, and academicians. Among the key stops are a visit to the IIT Delhi, Abu Dhabi campus and an interaction with students and faculty. Pradhan will also engage in discussions aimed at building partnerships in education, innovation, and knowledge exchange.
The visit will culminate in the opening of IIM Ahmedabad’s Dubai campus alongside the UAE Minister of Higher Education. This landmark initiative will expand access to world class Indian management education in the Gulf region. Pradhan will also take part in a roundtable with Indian higher education institutions in the UAE, highlighting further collaboration and institutional growth.

Additional key engagements include a Teachers’ Day event with CBSE school principals, a tree planting activity titled ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’, and the launch of Atal Tinkering Labs in Indian schools across the UAE. These initiatives underscore India’s commitment to educational outreach and innovation beyond its shores.
This visit marks a pivotal step in strengthening India-UAE educational ties and supporting student and academic mobility, incubation, and institutional collaboration.
