- AESL to offer scholarships and academic support to Army personnel and their families
- 100 percent fee waivers for gallantry awardees and personnel with disabilities
- Mentoring and counselling included in the education support program
Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL), a leading institute in test preparation, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Army to provide educational support to serving personnel, veterans, and their families. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to improving access to quality education for the defence community.
Under this agreement, students from Army families can access scholarships and mentoring at AESL’s centres across India. The benefits include a 100 percent tuition fee waiver for gallantry award winners and personnel with more than 20 percent disability, and a 20 percent fee waiver for other serving and retired personnel applicable after all other scholarships.
The MoU was signed by representatives of the Indian Army and Dr. Yash Pal, Chief Academic & Business Head, Delhi-NCR, AESL. AESL will also provide career counselling and academic mentoring through both online and offline platforms to support students in making informed choices.
