In the ever-evolving educational landscape, there's a noticeable shift in the preferences of parents and students seeking residential schools. These institutions are gaining prominence for going beyond traditional academics, prioritizing holistic education, experiential learning, and character development. However, affordability remains challenging, with the cost of quality residential education limiting access for many families.

Maintaining top-notch faculty, infrastructure, and facilities while managing operational expenses is an ongoing struggle, along with ensuring the safety and well-being of students in a residential setting. Furthermore, staying current with evolving educational approaches and technological advancements is crucial, as balancing the demand for tradition with innovation is a delicate task in this competitive landscape.

The Peepal Grove School, founded by Sri M, is an affiliated co-educational residential institution under the CISCE Board, a unique residential institution that addresses these challenges. Focusing on individualized care of each child by fostering a close teacher-student relationship, and promoting experiential learning in a diverse, sustainable environment, the school offers solutions to the evolving needs of students and parents in today's educational landscape.

Since its inception in June 2006, The Peepal Grove School has become a beacon of child-centred education, nurturing young minds in a picturesque valley in Andhra Pradesh.
The school is renowned for its commitment to experiential learning, environmental stewardship, and fostering a solid teacher - student relationship. The institution has created a diverse and multicultural community of learners and teachers.

In the words of the Founder, Sri M, “Children are sensitive, open-minded and vulnerable. They need to be shown ways and means to gather knowledge and understanding and learn for themselves. And since learning is associated with space (both internal and external), at The Peepal Grove School, we include experiences like outdoor classes, bird-watching, trekking, and painting outdoors (instead of only within the four walls of the classroom) all of which we feel are crucial to the growth of young minds. Here teachers play the role of friendly guides who inspire students through dialogue and discussion, instead of ‘spoon-feeding’ them”.

The Peepal Grove School is a child centred, sustainable, experiential residential school fostering confident, creative & responsible individuals prepared to solve real-life problems

This approach shapes confident, purposeful and independent-minded individuals who are driven to fulfill professional and personal goals. The school actively contributes to society through environmental initiatives, health camps, cleanliness drives, and support for local communities. With small class sizes (25 students) and dormitory occupancy limited to eight, the school creates a caring atmosphere. It accepts students aged 8 to 18 from across India and overseas. Admissions criteria include interviews and subject-specific tests. The annual tuition and boarding fees are Rs.5,55,000 for Grades 4-10 and Rs.6,76,000 for Grades 11 & 12. By nurturing socially aware, environmentally conscious, and empathetic students, The Peepal Grove School makes a meaningful and lasting contribution to society's betterment.

The Peepal Grove School encourages students to discover things for themselves. In the process of discovery, the students learn how to apply their minds, understand the importance of discipline and perseverance, and consequently do very well academically. At The Peepal Grove School, students and teachers learn how to live together and learn from each other, a skill much needed in today’s world.

The Peepal Grove School envisions continued growth in its child-centred educational approach and aims to expand its impact by reaching a more comprehensive student demographic. The school plans to stay at the forefront of educational innovation. The focus remains on nurturing young minds to be creative problem solvers and independent learners who are prepared to meet the evolving challenges of the 21st century.
