Dr M.santhiramudu, ChairmanThe global civil engineering market was worth USD 7.74 trillion in 2020, and it is predicted to increase at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.7 percent between 2021 and 2028. Rapid industrialization and urbanisation in emerging nations, as well as a growing emphasis on the development of high quality infra structure globally, are expected to fuel market expansion. Engineering is a cutting-edge discipline that can lead to a global career.

Even today, students in India are lured to a career in engineering, which is why discussing the benefits of earning an engineering degree from a private engineer-ing college is necessary. A number of private engineering institutions in India are well-funded, have affiliations with prestigious universities, and have strong industrial contacts. Because these universities are well-funded, they are able to give students with a well-rounded educational and extracurricular experience.

On March 9, 1996, Late Sri P.V.Narasimha Rao, former Prime Minister of India, and Sri N.Chandrababu Naidu, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, inaugurated the Rajeev Gandhi Memorial (RGM) College of Engineering and Technology, Nandyal. This institute is one of Andhra Pradesh's best engineering institutes. JNTUA Anantapuramu has granted the institute permanent affiliation. It was granted Autonomous status by the UGC in 2010 and has since updated its curriculum and rules to meet the needs of the business and society. All UG eligible courses in the institute have been recognized five times by NBA, most recently in Tier-I.

"We have a well-qualified faculty with robust student centric policies. We are completely focused on building students' credibilities both in terms of career as well as self-growth. Further, we have perfect infrastructure in place to aid students reach their full potential. Right from the latest courses to extra curricular activities, we are fully equipped institutions. Also, we believe in driving sustain-ability, wherein, we have wastewater management and other environmentally friendly processes in place," highlights Dr. T. Jayachandra Prasad,
Principal at RGM College of Engineering and Technology.

RGM's UG programmes consists of Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science), Computer Science and Engineering and Business Systems , Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning), and Computer Science and Engineering(Cyber Security).

And when it comes to PG programmes, RGM offers Structural Engineering, Power Electronics, Machine Design, Embedded Systems, and Computer Science, Management Studies, and MCA. Further, Seven departments in the RGMCET namely CE, EEE, ME, ECE, Physics, Mathematics and MBA have been recognized as potential research centers by JNTUA, there-by enabling them to offer Doctoral Programmes. For admission into Ph.D programmes, the process is prescribed by the affiliating University, JNTUA. The eligibility criteria is in accordance with the norms of the affiliating university.

A History of Excellence RGMCET is a path of graceful educational journey that is also path break-ing in various dimensions. Dr.M.Santhi Ramudu worked tirelessly to promote technical education to Rayalaseema residents. The mission continued with the establishment of Santhiram Medical College in 2005. This visionary's secret is his humility combined with his pleasant demeanor. He is bringing knowledge to these rural areas. As a talented craftsman, he makes the most of every moment of the day and is a living embodiment of the adage "HARD WORK NEVER DECEIVES"

"RGM College of Engineering and Technology aimed to create links with enterprises in order to have strong industry institute cooperation"

A College with Strong Values RGM College of Engineering and Technology aims to transform a rural engineering college into a technical education institute of worldwide standards by being an institute of excellence that contributes to societal requirements. The college has been instilling a value-based education with the noble purpose of offering education for peace and progress while constructing future-ready education deliverability with the necessary infrastructure that gives solid theoretical knowledge supported by cutting-edge skills.

Furthermore, it has been providing a conducive environment to stimulate and develop research, as well as transforming fresh graduates into successful entrepreneurs. RGM College of Engineering and Technology aimed to create links with enterprises in order to have strong industry institute cooperation. With this, the college has successfully instilled human values and ethos into the school system for students' overall growth.

"Going forward, we would be constantly working on bringing the needed innovation in education deliverability by leveraging latest technologies and methodologies. We are trying to build a center of excellence where students are provided with the best of knowledge to help them succeed in this increasingly competitive world", concludes Dr. T. Jayachandra.
