Dr Anusha Ravi,CEOA forward-thinking approach, combined with global exposure, innovation, industry alignment, and a strong entrepreneurial focus, is essential for engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu to produce well-rounded, future-ready graduates. As technology and job markets evolve, students need more than textbook knowledge, they need real-world skills, global perspectives, and the ability to think creatively & lead confidently. By fostering this ecosystem, institutions can drive meaningful change. Park College of Engineering and Technology stands out as a leading example of this transformative educational model.

Over the past few decades, Park College of Engineering and Technology (PCET) has emerged as a symbol of innovation, quality education, & futuristic thinking in Tamil Nadu. Established in 1997 by the visionary PARK Group of Institutions, this college was founded to provide a distinctive and modern approach to engineering education. Backed by a 55-year legacy in education, the PARK Group began with a nursery school in Tiruppur. It evolved into a pioneer, launching Tamil Nadu’s first private Polytechnic in 1982 and first fully private self-financing engineering college in 1984. Today, PCET offers 20+ programs and has alumni at ISRO, DRDO, and NASA.

Distinctive Strengths of PCET
PCET stands out for its diverse academic offerings, with over 20 specialized engineering programs that span both core and emerging fields. From in-demand areas like Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security to niche domains such as Environmental Engineering and 3D Animation Graphics, the college ensures a well-rounded, future-focused education. Accredited with NAAC A+, the college reflects academic excellence and robust institutional standards. Its curriculum, shaped by industry trends and alumni insights, equips students with job-ready skills from the very beginning of their academic journey.

Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering has become a flagship program at PCET, earning the college a strong reputation across Tamil Nadu and India. “Our institution offers globally aligned MBA and PGDM programs with international certifications, grooming the students for leadership roles in global industries. Programs like AI, Cybersecurity, Geo Informatics, Medical Electronics and Robotics are enriched with hands-on learning and industry exposure.
With regular updates guided by expert panels, our students engage in hackathons, expos, and industrial visits, gaining practical insights that complement their academic foundation”, says Dr Anusha Ravi, CEO, Park Institutions.

Furthermore, Dr Anusha Ravi, the CEO of the Park Institutions, brings a global perspective to education at PCET. Having spent over a decade in the U.S., studying and working with Airbus, and having traveled to nearly 50 countries, Dr Anusha brings invaluable insight into global education systems and work culture. Her leadership has led to meaningful global partnerships, visiting professors from abroad, and foreign language training in Japanese and German on campus.

Today, PCET’s alumni close to two Lakh are present in over 45 countries, and international exposure is a core part of student life at the college. Students are not just trained to be job-ready, they are trained to be world-ready.

Empowered Faculty, Innovation, & Entrepreneurship
PCET places strong emphasis on empowering its faculty, blending experienced academicians with seasoned industry professionals. The institution invests heavily in faculty development through regular training, exposure to international conferences, and specialized programs at institutions like IIMs and overseas. A culture of academic freedom and mentorship fosters motivation, collaboration, and innovation among faculty members.

To support advanced learning, PCET has developed smart infrastructure, from cutting-edge labs with 3D printers, industrial robots, and a fully functional wind tunnel for aeronautical research to an upcoming Cybersecurity lab and an active hydrogen fuel research unit. The on-campus app development center is open to all, encouraging innovation and community engagement.

Entrepreneurship is deeply embedded in PCET’s DNA. With a robust Innovation and Incubation Centre, startup mentoring, entrepreneurship clubs, and pitch competitions, the college has produced over 10,000 entrepreneurs. Students are encouraged early on to define their career goals, whether pursuing jobs, higher studies, or building startups, supported by alumni and senior mentorship. Dr Anusha’s leadership as the former President of TiE Coimbatore and EO member brings valuable entrepreneurial insight and energy to the institution.

Park College of Engineering & Technology is where future-ready engineers are shaped through innovation, industry focus, & visionary leadership

Industry Integration & Future Vision
To stay ahead in a fast-changing world, PCET ensures its curriculum remains closely aligned with industry needs. Advisory boards comprising industry leaders help shape course content, while regular site visits, industry projects, and expert sessions expose students to real-world challenges. Certification programs in high-demand areas like Cybersecurity and AI, along with hackathons and innovation contests, further bridge the gap between academia and industry, contributing to the college’s strong placement record.

PCET has earned accolades from top companies like Microsoft for its academic excellence. Yet, for Dr Anusha and her team, the true reward lies in the success of their alumni, many of whom hold global leadership roles and credit their foundation to PARK. To conclude, with plans to launch unique departments and future-ready courses, the college is set to become a destination for aspiring engineers.
