The students are given an extremely friendly academic environment with well-equipped lecture rooms, laboratories, library and computer networking facilities. DSU has exceptional infrastructure for students who possess a passion for sports and games. The hostel facilities, encompassing

The student is put through an assessment to understand their learning styles, cognitive ability, IQ level, and memory acumen are recorded. The students are of course free to make their career choice, but we give them a lot of information and assist them in making a career choice based on aptitude and interest. We also have an interesting program called ICAT (Industry and Culture Appreciation tour), where students are sponsored to go foreign country for about a week, visit industry and a university to understand the culture and work practices of that nation. Across industries, COVID-19 has permanently altered the way the world does business. To equip students to thrive in this new environment the University has come up with a program called the Distinguished Speaker Series. The B-School invites thought leaders from across the world to speak to the students and make them cognizant of the latest technologies, business practices and opportunities. It is a great learning opportunity away from the textbook and the normal academic discourse. The pedagogy at DSU, MBA program is case-study based which is very distinctive and unique approach, where the professor and students collaborate in trying to find a solution to a business problem. A particular business problem is discussed in great details allowing the students to sharpen their cognitive skills and decision-making ability. It is a collaborative approach unlike a mundane lecture and the students get to deal with real-life business problems under the mentorship of a professor.
The Dean goes on to add that, the B-School is cognizant of the fact that a young person needs to be well-groomed and have good life skills. To achieve this the students are put through Project Roshni, where a skilled faculty and coach takes the student through a journey of self-reflection and learning making them well-adjusted individuals.
The Executive Education wing of the school provides brilliant Executive MBA programs for working professionals. Dayananda Sagar University has an intake of about 600 students in a year which reflects the popularity of the program in Bengaluru.
