Dr Sai Giridhar
Wellness & Longevity Coach and Transformational Life Coach
Dr Sai Giridhar’s journey began in the tranquil spiritual enclave of Prasanthi Nilayam, Andhra Pradesh, where the guiding philosophy was simple yet profound, ‘Each one lives for the other and all live for God or the higher purpose’. Raised in this value-rich environment under the guidance of his Guru, Sri Sathya Sai Baba, he imbibed empathy, selflessness, and a higher sense of purpose early on, principles that would shape every step of his path. Surrounded by a diverse, cosmopolitan community, the ashram became more than a religious refuge, it was a living school of human consciousness.
With an abiding interest in the human body, Dr Sai Giridhar’s area of research was clinical biochemistry, with a PhD in early detection of coronary artery disease, a study of biomarkers. His work resulted in projects with leading research advisors who were from institutions such as Sweden’s Karo linska Institute and the Mayo Clinic, USA funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India and a US based funding agency. But even in the laboratory, his mind never strayed from the human being behind the numbers. To him, every biomarker carried a story, every dataset a life waiting to be saved.
A Values-Based Coaching Model
A defining chapter in Dr Sai Giridhar’s journey unfolded with the prestigious Sakura Fellowship in Japan an in ternational research exchange program that offered more than just academic enrichment. Immersed in the ethos of Japanese culture, he absorbed the values of discipline, harmony, and quiet excellence.
The experience was trans formative, deepening his appreciation for mindfulness, collaboration, and a life anchored in purpose. That calling led him to be a founding member of the Centre for Human Values and later a life coach. He earned certification as a Life and Leadership Coach using approved methods from the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
As a coach, he offers support and a safe place to those experiencing burnout or needing emotional clarity, to think, heal, and explore one’s feelings using wisdom, science and spiritual insights. The model is established on five pillars of Universal Values, namely Truth (Sathya), Righteousness (Dharma), Peace (Shanti), Love(Prema) and Nonviolence (Ahimsa). He employs this compass in guiding clients through the intricacies of contemporary life with integrity and lucidity. In a world clouded by chaos, conflicting priorities, and emotional fatigue, these values offer not just direction but deep inner anchoring.
Creating Safe Spaces for Self-Discovery
His coaching practice is deeply empathetic and emotion ally attuned. Aware of the invisible burdens many carry like low self-worth, internalized judgment, and limiting beliefs, Dr Sai Giridhar emphasizes the importance of ‘holding space’, unconditionally. This involves being pre sent without judgment, offering support without interference, and actively listening without agenda. What unites Dr Sai Giridhar’s clients ranging from corporate leaders and entrepreneurs to students, homemakers, and artists is their desire to live more consciously. Most arrive feeling lost or confused. At the conclusion of their coaching experience, they leave with a new sense of direction, emotional equilibrium, and inner calm.
One especially memorable case involved a close friend, a C-suite executive who had lost his job and was undergoing emotional turmoil. Supported by Dr Sai Giridhar’s values-based coaching, the client discovered his core values and his ability to align his decisions to his core beliefs, values and needs. The client soon landed a job exactly as he desired, drawing deep satisfaction from finding inner and outer alignment. Another client in her feedback said that she was grateful to be able to smile after two long years having found her clarity and direction. He coaches executives addressing the 360 of their lives and 50 percent of his clients are women leaders and professionals.
Rather than offering quick fixes, he guides clients to face inner fears and limiting beliefs with compassion, helping them make choices aligned with their true values. He has been a practitioner of meditation for over two decades and has conducted wellness retreats in the Himalayas for more than 14 years. As a retreat specialist, he champions the need to customize wellness and mindfulness, honoring the uniqueness of every individual. His goal is to see more and more people benefit from the coaching process and also grow a group of values-guided coaches who help others find their potential.
As an accomplished public speaker, Dr Sai Giridhar has given many talks in international forums and conducted interactive workshops and training programmes for mindfulness, wellbeing, self and leadership development in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Thailand, Singapore and the USA. His teachings are inspired by the ancient Indian ideal of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’, which means the world is one family. He views personal transformation as a catalyst for broader change across families, workplaces, and society.
