Devangi Garg: Empowering Young Professionals Build Confidence & Direction through Culture-Conscious Coaching

Devangi Garg
Youth & Life Coach
Devangi Garg is a passionate life coach whose journey into coaching was born out of personal adversity and a deep desire to support others through life’s challenges. Her path began during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time marked by significant personal losses and emotional isolation. It was during these moments of vulnerability that Devangi recognized the immense value of having a trustworthy guide, someone to talk to, confide in, and seek clarity from. This realization not only highlighted the emotional gaps many face during difficult times but also sowed the seeds for her future in life coaching.
Even before stepping into this professional space, Devangi had long been a source of support for her peers. From her school days, friends and acquaintances instinctively turned to her for advice, venting, or simply being heard. Whether it was her approachable nature, her ability to listen deeply, or the genuine care she showed, people trusted her. Coupling this natural inclination with her emotional journey, Devangi was inspired to become the kind of coach she once needed. Her academic and professional background provided a solid foundation before she transitioned into coaching. A graduate of BCom (Hons.) from Delhi University and a PGPM holder from IBS, Devangi went on to work at Deloitte for nearly two years. However, corporate life soon revealed its limitations for her aspirations, prompting her to pursue formal training as a life coach.
Signature Coaching Approach
Devangi currently offers three core coaching services, including personal coaching, relationship building, and corporate team dynamics. Among these, her primary focus and flagship offering is personal coaching, particularly for young professionals and
individuals navigating transitions, such as stepping into leadership roles or considering career shifts after years in the same field. In relationship coaching, Devangi supports clients in strengthening communication and setting healthy boundaries, whether the dynamics involve family members, romantic partners, or professional colleagues. Her corporate programs are designed to foster emotional intelligence and cohesion in teams, especially where individual contributors struggle to function as a unified group. Devangi’s strength lies in creating strategies that are not only effective but also realistic and sustainable, especially for clients juggling multiple responsibilities.
What sets Devangi apart in the growing life coaching landscape is her client-centric and culturally sensitive methodology. Rather than prescribing generic advice, she sees her role as a facilitator who asks the right questions, those that empower clients to uncover their answers and build clarity from within. She believes true coaching lies in helping individuals understand themselves better, not in telling them what to do. Her sessions are far from one-size fits- all, instead, they are designed to align with each client’s unique lifestyle, responsibilities, and cultural context. “I use a simple, yet effective framework called the GROW model, where we identify Goals, understand current Reality, explore Opportunities, and build the Will to act. I create custom exercises and resources tailored to each client’s unique situation, reverse-engineered from what resonates most during our sessions to make this process more personal and impactful”, she informs.
From Confusion to Creative Clarity
One of Devangi Garg’s notable coaching successes involved a client in his mid-20s who came to her feeling overwhelmed, lost, and burdened by personal setbacks and mounting responsibilities. Though employed, he lacked fulfillment and clarity about his future, often second-guessing his decisions. Through coaching sessions, Devangi applied the GROW model to help him navigate his uncertainty, starting by identifying his deeper interests, as he initially could only articulate what he didn’t want. With tailored strategies and customized exercises, she guided him in discovering his passion for creative work. “Remarkably, within just six sessions, he not only gained clarity on his direction but also secured his first freelance project. Today, he is actively building his own small creative business”, adds Devangi.
Recognition Rooted in Impact
While Devangi Garg may not yet hold formal awards in the coaching industry, her true recognition lies in the trust and loyalty of her clients. As a certified life coach trained under the ICF-accredited Symbiosis Coaching program, she is on the path to becoming a full member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Her credibility is further established through invitations to speak at informal groups and institutions, where she shares her insights and conducts workshops. However, for Devangi, the most meaningful accolades are the repeat clients and referrals she consistently receives, proof that her work is making a real difference.
Vision for the Future
Looking ahead, Devangi is driven by a deeper mission which is to normalize asking for help and to erase the stigma around seeking support. She aspires to be a safe space for people, a trusted figure they can talk to, be vulnerable with, and grow alongside. “My goal is to support individuals not just through emotional or personal challenges, but also in building confidence, refining communication, and excelling in their professional lives. I see my coaching practice as a way to truly walk alongside people”, concludes Devangi.

The real shift will happen when people will stop feeling ashamed of seeking coaching and start feeling proud of investing in their growth
