Reminiscing a personal case study, Dr Rahul says, “I had offered some strategic advice to one of the co-attendees from a publication firm in a conference I was part of. They liked my inputs and on-boarded me as their business consulting partner, where they had a long-term vision to grow their turnover by 20x. Initially, we had a detailed discussion with all the relevant stakeholders, made minor changes in terms of infrastructure & headcount, and then broke the long-term vision into smaller goals that are to be achieved on a yearly basis. This strategy became a changer for the company, which has now grown from a 10 member team into 50+ people strong company and even expanded into Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and few others. I also hold the position of CEO in that publication now”.

When asked about what his advice is for individuals aspiring to be future business coaches, Dr Rahul says, “You need to be extremely strategic in terms of analyzing the customers and have a keen eye to detail in order to have a clear understanding of their requirements and expectations. Also, you need to develop strong problem solving skills and be creative in your approach. Be quick, responsible, and accountable for addressing the problem statements of all your stakeholders by making sure you're always available when needed”.
Going forward, Rahul plans to develop an online platform through which users can gain real-time access to training sessions irrespective of their physical location. Additionally, he is also working closely with his present core team of four consultants towards expanding this team further to effectively cater to the clients. Further, he is also currently engaged in building numerous training modules comprising of industry relevant practices, which the employees can take-up once their join an organization and become more professional at their workplace. Lastly, Rahul's long-term vision is to first become a PAN-India organization and gradually foray into global markets as well.
