The Visionary Behind Asperia
At the heart of this institute is its Founder, Dr Tejal Shah, a gold medalist in Ayurveda with a deep passion for skincare and cosmetology. Her journey began at a time when India had limited opportunities for hands-on cosmetic training. Determined to bring global knowledge back home, she trained in Singapore in 2009 and later continued her education in Korea and Dubai, gaining expertise in lasers, skincare, and the latest aesthetic treatments.
She started her own cosmetic clinic in Mumbai in 2011, later relocating to Pune in 2017. Recognizing the growing demand for advanced skincare treatments in the IT hub of Kharadi, she launched a full-fledged clinic in 2018. Over time, she realized the urgent need for structured and ethical cosmetology education in India, leading her to establish Asperia Institute in 2019.
The factors that set Asperia Institute apart from other cosmetology training centers in India are its strong foundation in clinical experience, academic rigor, and ethical practice.
