The college is also home to top-tier infrastructure with modern apparatus and machinery, a string of fully- enabled laboratories and workshops, in consonance with Anna University, Chennai. With a dynamic, enthusiastic, and strong-willed woman, Seva Ratna Dr. Grace George (Chairperson) at its helm, Alpha Group of Institutions, which commenced as a thatched-roofed room in the nook of a by-lane in Chennai on a summer morning in 1967 with just 14 children, has now transformed into a group of world-class institutions with a strong student populace of 7000. “They say that behind every successful man there is a woman, but in my situation, there were two very strong men behind me - a helping father, and an encouraging husband, who ignited fire in me to initiate an educational revolution which ‘Seek, Share, and Serve’ as our motto,” concludes Dr. Grace.
