Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has pan India presence through its more than 24000 affiliated schools spread all over the country. Among Southern states of the country, Telangana has witnessed strong growth in the recent years, with a significant number of K-12 CBSE schools and a large student base. However, majority of schools in Telangana do not provide international exposure or opportunities for cultural exchange or global awareness to its students. A large section of students still lack proper guidance on career paths, especially in smaller towns or non-urban areas. Talla Padmavathi International School distinguishes itself with its remarkable international student exchange program. Through this initiative, the school envisions to allow its students to interact with peers from more than 25 countries that help them gain a wider perspective of the world and embrace diverse cultures.

Established in 2019, Talla Padmavathi International School is a part of the Talla Padmavathi Group of Institutions and was founded with an aim to offer students a world-class education with international exposure. It is a renowned CBSE-affiliated school located in Warangal. Talla Padmavathi Group of Institutions began its journey in 1982 and today the group has expanded to run eight prestigious institutions in Warangal, including two pharmacy colleges, an engineering college, four schools and an MBA college. With student strength of over 4,500, the group is known across the people for its strong focus on delivering high quality education to students. “Many of our former students have gone on to become respected doctors, engineers, public servants, and scientists and their achievements highlight our strong commitment towards providing a quality education”, says Talla Mallesham, Chairman, Talla Padmavathi International School.

Personal Attention on Each Student
Talla Padmavathi International School has purposely kept each class section limited to around 25 students to create a more personal and effective learning environment. It also helps to avoid the problems that often come with larger and less engaging classrooms. To make sure that each student gets the proper support, the school identifies those who may need extra help, known as slow bloomers, before their first periodic assessment examination. Once they get identified, the teachers provide personalized strategies to help boost their academic performance. These strategies include providing specially designed worksheets that build a strong foundation and make it easier for the students to grasp the topics being taught.

Talla Padmavathi International School encourages students to take part in co-curricular activities that support their overall growth including TED-Ed Student Talks, Artistic Skating, School Radio Program and
Parent-Student Podcasts. It also organizes an activity called Model United Nations where it provides the chance to students to take part in simulated global discussions while sharpening their critical thinking, communication and negotiation skills.

Well Qualified Faculty
Talla Padmavathi International School takes pride in its experienced and dedicated faculties, who have expertise in their specific fields. They use student-focused teaching methodologies and creative strategies while staying committed to the school’s values and guidelines. These faculties come from diverse regions across India, including Kashmir, Kerala, Kolkata, Manipur and Nagaland. Apart from that, the school also invites educators from the UK, who visit every few months to offer training and guidance to both students and teachers. They bring a global outlook to the learning environment.

Talla Padmavathi International School believes in building strong communication between parents and teachers. “We always encourage parents to visit our campus to talk about their child’s development or discuss any issue related to their life”, adds Talla Mallesham. Moreover, class teachers make at least two phone calls each month to parents to discuss and address any concerns they may have about their kids.
