The Cambridge Group of Institutions was established in 1964 with Cambridge School. Having grown with flying colours over the years The Umesh Education Trust started the Cambridge Institute of Technology (CIT) in the year 2007 along with Cambridge Pre-University College and Cambridge Degree College. CIT has been ranked 7th among the emerging private engineering colleges in an all India level and 10th among the private college in Bengaluru in the research survey 2021.

Through its various Undergraduate and Post Graduate programmes, CIT strives to implement an experiential learning experience for students engaging them in several cognitive activities technical and cultural events to boost their artistic side along with polishing their skills to observe, identify and develop the best possible solutions to problems. In order to enroll for the undergraduate programmes at Cambridge Institute of Technology, Main Campus OR North Campus, the students have to undergo Common Entrance Test(CET)conducted by KEA or COMED-K and Selection Process, or Minimum Aggregate of 50% marks in any graduation.

CIT has graduated more than 10,000 students and a large number of them are spread across the world. Our alumni engagement programme knits the graduates closely who also act as the brand ambassadors of CIT and every initiative that we take

"With the transformation initiative of Vision 2025, we aim to reach out to the entire world to share our intellectual ability, knowledge and experience and help transform human resources at the global level", says Shri. DK Mohan, Chairman, Cambridge Group.

Talent Transformation Hub
While the Indian education system prepares candidates with theoretical and practical knowledge, employers find most graduates struggling with on-ground understanding of the job they are engaged in. CIT has taken a pre emptive bid to ensure that the quality of education imparted to its students is of the highest level and that its students are industry ready when appearing for interviews before potential employers.

Using Air Purifier: Air purifier is a one stop solution to prevent indoor air pollution. These purifiers remove every dirty thing from smoke to dust and germs from the indoor air. This helps you and your baby grow in a healthy environment. Being in and inhaling better air quality from the very beginning can provide long lasting benefits to you and your baby.

The Talent Transformation Hub is an initiative under taken by the Cambridge Institute of Technology to impart practical knowledge to its students so that they are not only ready for the industry but are equipped with enough technical knowledge to start as an entrepreneur too.

The Talent Transformation Hub has been set up to enhance the employ ability potential of students at the departmental level. The Hub is accessible to all the students from freshers to final year students. Three separate tabs to indicate technical, industry engagement and non-technical skill development all aspects that contribute to the holistic development of a student are taken into account by the Hub. The Department of TTH at Cambridge Institute of Technology provides a platform for placement where companies are invited to recruit students of various specializations and work experience. The department focuses on developing technical skills, aptitude, soft skills, communication skills and digital skills. Some of our top recruiters include, Infosys, Capgemini, Rakuten, Adobe, Cognizant and Accenture.

More so, CIT thrives on innovations of its students. The R&D research centre at CIT is actively involved in various sponsored projects. Up to Rs 2 crore has been sanctioned for research activities to this Centre in CIT. Students can be a part of this Centre which is funded by organizations including the Aeronautical Research and Development Board (ARDB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Defense Research Development Organization(DRDO), Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and several others. These Research Centres and the Research & Development department have funded projects of more than $25000 USD each.

Ensuring that students maintain a balance between academic and co-curricular activities during their journey, CIT has a well equipped Dept. of Physical Education and Sports. Students regularly engage in Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Throw ball and various other sport activities from time to time.
