Telangana will soon host a new Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence in collaboration with Deakin University, Australia, marking a significant step in advancing tech driven development in the State. The move is part of efforts to position Telangana as a global innovation hub for emerging technologies.

The Centre will focus on expanding AI innovation, enabling research collaborations, and delivering job ready skill development programs. It aims to bridge academic knowledge with real-world applications by targeting high-impact sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, and governance. The goal is to use AI to enhance citizen services and develop scalable, socially responsible tech solutions.

In partnership with Young Indian Skill University, the Centre will offer market oriented AI courses designed to meet international standards. Youth in Telangana will benefit from hands on training, while local startups will gain access to expert mentorship from Australian AI specialists.
