SIBM Pune was established in 1978 and is the flagship institute under the Faculty of Management of Symbiosis International University. Since its inception 39 years ago, it has come a long way to become a leading B-School in India. SIBM is a member of the EFMD & EFMD Global network. SIU has been ranked amongst the top 50 Universities in India by NIRF, Government of India. The University has also been ranked among the top 250 Universities in Asia and the top 150 in BRICS by the QS World University rankings survey 2018. SIBM Pune has been ranked 18th amongst all the B Schools in India by the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF), Government of India, in 2018. The institute was also awarded the `Gold' Star by the QS Star University Rating 2018.

SIBM has been wise to the changing times, its inception in 1978, and We have constantly been exploring and innovatively changing the curriculum per the industry's needs. The institution offers MBA, Executive MBA, and MDP Programme. The MBA program provides four specializations: Finance, HR, Marketing, and Operations. Even the MBA Innovation and Entrepreneurship program is one of the unique programs we have started, which no other Indian B school offers.
