SPACE India, a space education institution, has collaborated with the American Center to initiate a series of workshops focused on astronomy and space science. This monthly workshop series seeks to enhance education in space science and astronomy at the foundational level while also symbolizing a noteworthy development in the longstanding relationship between India and the United States. Inaugurating this partnership, SPACE India organized the first workshop titled 'Get Set, Make Hydraulic System for Space Applications' at the American Center in New Delhi.

"The profound impact of the workshop was remarkable, with attendees gaining newfound appreciation and respect for the opportunities presented. Their enriched understanding will undoubtedly catalyze further exploration and discovery, opening doors to a world of possibilities previously considered beyond reach", said Sachin Bahmba, Founder and CMD, Space Group.

The workshop, spanning two hours, was specifically designed for students aged 13 to 18 and offered at no cost. It delved into the dynamic realm of fluid mechanics, empowering students with understanding. Subsequently, participants engaged in hands-on activities, creating astronomical models inspired by space and grounded in fundamental principles. The session unfolded the basics of hydraulics and its relevance in space exploration, guiding attendees through problem-solving tasks.

Additionally, the workshop provided practical engineering opportunities, including the construction of a functional model based on space themes, along with an examination of practical applications of hydraulics in the realm of space exploration. "This marks the beginning of an extraordinary journey. It promises to touch the lives of countless individuals, empowering them to explore both themselves and the wondrous realms that lie beyond", said the organization that aims to roll out the workshop to a larger audience in the near future.
