Si TeamSHEROES, the largest women community plat-form has launched a PAN India initiative to support and spotlight the next generation of women in technology from 45 engineering colleges. The program selected around 56 women students after rigorous talent search. The SHEROES Campus Lead programme for Women in Tech is designed to showcase girls on the rise, offering additional opportunities to build their expertise for better careers. Entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation are core thrust areas of the programme, offered via mentorship, opportunities, resources, and conversations around their aspirations.
The initiative, powered by the platform's fast growing Women in Tech community on the SHEROES app, will see Campus leads being active role models and leaders in the community, triggering conversations around innovation and women's participation in this narrative.

2019's SHEROES campus lead program includes women students from IIT Mandi, NIT Kurukshetra, BhartiVidyapeeth, IIIT Sonepat, ManavRachna, NIT Sonepat, Symbiosis University, Delhi University, Lucknow University, Gayatri Vidyaprasad College, Vignans Lara Institute of Science and Technology, Velammal Engineering College, Haldia Institute of Technology and Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology. The SHEROES Women in Tech community has over 95,000 community members, discussing tech trends, ideas, skills and narratives, on a daily basis.

"Our dynamic Campus Leads have vision, passion and a hunger to disrupt existing narratives, and build for the future. Every girl is unique, and has the ability to lead. They have dreams and aspirations, just waiting to get wings. What they seek is support, and a space for expression of these dreams and aspirations. This is our initiative to invest back in the community, and expand the women in tech narrative across the country. Joining the first cohort, we have girls from all across the country, including Kollam, Vishakhapatnam, Vadlamudi, Yavatmal, Chinnasalem and Bhimtal," says Sairee Chahal, CEO, SHEROES.
