NIIT University Signs MoU with the University of Indianapolis

NIIT University (NU), a leading knowledge campus, today announced a strategic pact with the University of Indianapolis (UINDY) for expanding educational and research opportunities for NU students. The MoU positions NU in its quest for innovation in higher education towards emerging fields. It provides avenues to NU students to experience global exposure through advanced programs and research initiatives by UINDY.
This partnership will make opportunities for education and research possible among the students and faculty of both institutions. The graduate students of NU as per need, will now be allowed to take semester-long internships or research projects at UINDY, options extended up to one year. Moreover, any BTech and BBA student at NU is also eligible to be a part of the research internship called UINDY, which can last from six months to one year, thereafter continuing for on-site Corporate MBA, following their academic qualification. Similarly, any undergraduate degree from any field at NU is also eligible to join UINDY's Corporate MBA.
The faculty from the two universities will be able to collaborate on research work and together organize conferences. UINDY will offer courses unique for the university, which can be delivered onsite or online for terms that run a year long. UINDY students will have the ability to participate in a residential immersion program in India undertaken by NU as part of enrichment cultural and educational experiences, while NU students will have the ability to participate in a U.S. immersion program at UINDY.
As NIIT University, now on the threshold of its 14th Convocation and yet on the threshold of a new partnership with a strong global player like Pearson, this definitely is one of the most defining milestones for the organisation as regards preparing students with an international perspective so that they could be relevant in an increasingly interconnected world, stated Prof. Prakash Gopalan, President, NIIT University. He said, 'Over this period, we will be celebrating our graduates but are also excited about the future possibilities that this collaboration will open up for enriching their further academic experiences and career prospects.

14th Convocation for graduating class at NIIT University would be held on 19th October, 2024. The Convocation is scheduled to be held at Auditorium, NIIT University, Neemrana, Rajasthan, where graduate and master degree ceremony of students would be done, and a keynote address by Chief Guest, Ms Debjani Ghosh, President, NASSCOM. It would distribute about 270 degrees on the occasion.
Ranked at number one in Rajasthan and 16 in the entire country as per the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) 2023, NU has delivered consistent spectacular 100 percent placement of all the students from these campuses who were seeking employment. Of the graduating class of 2024, more than 93 percent had secured a job in these repute-filled organizations - Maruti Suzuki, Volkswagen, KPMG, Genpact, EY, and IBM. Average salary of the top 10 percent graduates is 16.5 LPA and highest ever recorded salary was Rs 44.27 LPA.
NU takes sustainability as one of the core values and has undertaken several initiatives toward the restoration and preservation of the ecological integrity of its surroundings. The students are actively involved in ecological restoration activities in the nearby Aravali hills, which engages local activities. NU's Green Campus adheres to regional environmental standards and uses sustainable architectural principles in buildings, which considerably reduces its carbon footprint. Campus design has merged with the natural environment to minimize the destruction that construction places on nature.
