The Indian School of Business (ISB) has partnered with the Bharti Airtel Foundation to launch the Bharti Airtel Scholarship, a multi-year initiative supporting talented students in ISB’s Post Graduate Programme in Management for Young Leaders (PGP YL). The program will award scholarships to five students from each cohort, covering full or partial costs of tuition, accommodation, and meals.

Designed on a need-cum-merit basis, the scholarship reinforces the Foundation’s long-standing commitment to inclusive and accessible higher education. The agreement was formalized in the presence of Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Co-Chairman of Bharti Airtel Foundation and Vice Chairman of Bharti Enterprises; Professor Madan Pillutla, Dean of ISB; and DNV Kumara Guru, Senior Director at ISB.

“Education is the foundation of empowerment,” said Rakesh Bharti Mittal, highlighting that the scholarship aims to nurture the next generation of leaders and changemakers. Professor Madan Pillutla added that the partnership reflects ISB’s vision of creating opportunities for deserving candidates to benefit from its transformative learning and leadership ecosystem.

Since its inception, the Bharti Airtel Foundation has supported over 2,000 students, nearly half of them girls, helping youth from underserved communities access higher education. The new initiative deepens this mission, ensuring that financial barriers do not stand in the way of potential.

Through this collaboration, ISB and Bharti Airtel Foundation hope to empower bright minds who will lead India’s next wave of innovation and growth.
