India’s Much Anticipated Techno-Management Fest - ‘Kshitij-2018’ to be Flagged-off on 19th January

si TeamIIT Kharagpur, one of India’s leading institutes for technical education, is all set to flag-off the 15th edition of its annual the annual techno-management fest – ‘Kshitij-2018’, which is scheduled from 19th to 21st January 2018. Started in 2004 with a vision to assist the technically inclined youth of India, Kshitij serves as a national-level platform to showcase their talent & expertise, and get recognized and rewarded.
Having gathered widespread popularity since its inception, each year, Kshitij receives an overwhelming participation from the student community from across the world. Its official website is currently one of the world’s largest student-run websites, and had also received a record eight million clicks for its 2012 edition.

As part of the fest, an array of events covering almost every vertical of technology and management domains are organised so as to help induce a scientific and rational temperament in the youngsters. Additionally, global organisations such as ACM, IEEE, ASME, ASHRAE, CSI, ICRIER, CSIR and IMechE certify numerous events of the fest to ensure credibility of the events. Also, to address the issues, social initiatives in association with the leading NGOs in the country are also organised.

Kshitij also enables participants to gain hand-on experience and enhance their technical skills by organizing workshops, guest lectures, exhibitions and mega shows across the subcontinent. Last year, Kshitij-2017 witnessed a total participation of over 60,000 participants, with Rs.45 lakhs offered as prize money.
