IIT Delhi seeks Applicants for the EV Fundamentals Certificate Program

The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi) has responded to the rising demand for skilled professionals in the electric vehicle (EV) sector by initiating its second batch of a certificate program. This program, in line with the government's emphasis on sustainable energy solutions, is currently open for applications until March 24. It is designed to run from June 15 to November 16, spanning five months, and is conducted entirely online. Aimed primarily at working professionals, the course entails 55 hours of live sessions conducted by both IIT Delhi faculty and industry experts.

Geared towards individuals with backgrounds in electrical and electronics engineering, such as engineers, graduates, or diploma holders, the program seeks to furnish participants with indispensable skills for career progression within the automotive industry, with a specific focus on the EV domain.

Eligibility criteria encompass a range of qualifications including BE/BTECH/ME/MTECH degrees in any field, BSc/MSc in Electronics, engineering diplomas in Electrical or Electronics, or a minimum of one year of relevant work experience. The class schedule is tailored to accommodate professionals' hectic routines, with sessions scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 3 pm to 4.30 pm.

Evaluation of participants will be based on a combination of assignments (40%), a class project (30%), and MCQ tests (30%). Certification will be conferred based on performance and attendance. Those who complete the program will receive a 'Certificate of Successful Completion' from the Centre for Automotive Research and Tribology (CART), IIT Delhi. Additionally, candidates who achieve a minimum of 50 per cent overall marks and maintain at least 50 per cent attendance will be awarded a 'Certificate of Successful Completion' from CEP, IIT Delhi.
