IIM Raipur to Offer Free Programs for MSME Owners and Entrepreneurs

Indian Institute of Management, Raipur, along with the Ministry of MSME's Entrepreneurshipand Skill Development Program (ESDP), announced two free-of-cost, offline development programs for entrepreneurs and MSME owners. This will help the aspiring as well as the existing ones in starting or expanding a new venture.
The 'Advanced E-SDP for New Venture Creation' will happen from February 3 to February 7, 2025; the 'Advanced MDP for Business Scale-Up for MSMEs' is scheduled to take place on February 3 to February 8, 2025. Both the programs are wholly funded by the ESDP division of the Ministry of MSME, thereby free to attend for any participant. Application deadline falls on January 12, 2025.
These programs are available to the graduates who are 18 years above. It specifically targets candidates from SC, ST, OBC, women and the differently-abled category also with special emphasis on those people who belong to Chhattisgarh. Candidates can be selected as per ESDP guidelines after scrutiny.
Advanced E-SDP for New Venture Creation is a 5-day course that provides insight into starting a business. It will cover marketing for entrepreneurs, leadership, financing, legal compliance, operational strategies, and industry-specific opportunities.
The Advanced MDP for Business Scale-Up for MSMEs program is a 6-day course dedicated to overcoming the growth challenges associated with small businesses. Development of scalable business models; funding; family business and global expansion; sustainable practice will be discussed.
The director of IIM Raipur, Professor Ram Kumar Kakani, stressed the need to promote MSMEs and encourage entrepreneurship to catalyze India's progress, keeping innovation and inclusivity at its core.
These programs are a part of a larger initiative to endow entrepreneurship and MSMEs with the right skills and strategies required to become successful, working towards making India a developed nation by 2047. Applicants can apply through the official website of IIM Raipur.
