Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore), ranked 8th in the NIRF 2024 released by the Ministry of Education, has recently unveiled a new Certificate Programme in Digital Transformation and AI for Leaders. This initiative, created in partnership with Emeritus, is designed to provide professionals with the foundational skills needed to incorporate digital tools and AI strategically within their business models in a manner that would drive innovation, operational efficiency, and competitive growth.

Digitalization is not only disrupting industries, but acquiring the right set of skilled leadership has become an imperative need. As stated in the World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report 2023, 85% of organizations view the adoption of new technologies and increased access to digital as critical for their transformation, which underscores the importance of this program.

A 22-week, high-impact course, designed for senior leaders, department heads, and managers currently working on digital transformation projects or leadership aspirations in this field, as well as consultants supporting organizations in their digital journey, and entrepreneurs looking to adapt to new market demands and opportunities.

Professor Himanshu Rai, Director of IIM Indore, stressed that this is the age of digital transformation and, henceforth, indispensable in today's business world. The program is designed for professionals who will gain expertise in using digital strategies and AI to solve issues as well as create the future of business leaders who would lead change.

The comprehensive programme provides pre-recorded lectures from IIM Indore's respected faculty, aside from industry expert insights. It includes the use of case studies, a capstone project, and peer learning opportunities to cover topics such as data-driven decisions, customer-centric digital transformation, and AI integration for innovative business strategies.
