Foundation for Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development (FIED), the incubation center of Indian Institute of Management Kashipur, is an initiative to nurture and strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem of India. With the help of the Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Science and Technology, Uttarakhand Government and other supporting partners, FIED is set to incubate the most promising start-ups of India in the domains of Tourism and Hospitality, Agriculture, Art and Craft, and Education.
The incubation centre is growing in leaps and bounds. Currently, 74 promising startups are incubated at IIM Kashipur FIED. FIED is firm in its resolve to help each and every person in the country who wishes to take up entrepreneurship as a career or play a role in the ecosystem of entrepreneurship.
By participating in this program, the startup will have access to structured and curated material, real-life business case study-based facilitated sessions, access to experts and mentors, and one-year support.
DRISHTI 3.0, a one-year incubation program for business mentoring in Tech-startups (supported by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India).
It works in two phases. First phase: 2-month business mentoring. The selected innovators become a part of our cohort for 2- months training and mentoring with experts from various domains. The aim of this engagement is to build the capacity, expand business understanding, and encourage collaborations between the participating startups.
Second phase: 1 – year incubation program
After the training and mentoring program, the startups are incubated at FIED, for a year wherein their progress is continuously assessed and supported.
