
Amity University and Polish Delegation Discuss Future Academic Partnerships

A Delegation led by Embassy of Poland consisting of H.E. Mr. Piotr Switalski, Head, Embassy of Republic of Poland and Mr. Marek Kijewski, Counsellor, Embassy of Republic of Poland New Delhi recently made a visit to Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida Campus in view to prospect for opportunities to co-operate at the research as well as academic level between the Polish Universities.
H.E. Mr. Piotr Świtalski, Chief of the Embassy of Republic of Poland in New Delhi, testified, "Amity is a very well established and renowned University globally and it has done excellent work in academics and research. Today India is becoming a nation which has huge potential for new opportunities with other nations".
With our strategic alliance with Amity, we are eagerly waiting to enhance the bilateral relationship between the two nations. Amity University and Polish institutions can collaborate in numerous fields. Exchange of students between the two institutions will give them international exposure, which will widen their horizon and enable them to work in other nations as well. We need a system approach for our collaboration and we will push it forward in a systemic way.
Mr. Marek Kijewski, Counsellor, Embassy of the Republic of Poland, said, "Currently, there are nearly 3,500 Indian students studying in Poland and we would wish to have more students from India to study at Polish universities and send Polish students to India for further studies.
Prof. (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, AUUP, said, "The aim of this visit is to create mutual cooperation between Amity University and Poland Universities. The New Education Policy 2020 has opened the gates for mutual cooperation, in the form of joint research, dual degrees, and joint degrees and this collaboration is the start of a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship, which will foster future leaders".
Prof. (Dr.) Gurinder Singh, Group Vice Chancellor, Amity Universities gave an overview of the international opportunities for students and Dr. W. Selvamurthy, President, ASTIF gave the research activities of Amity.
