In the case study based technique the students are made to collect information regarding the topics they learn in class and submit a report on it. This has been very effective because the students get a sense of responsibility and reliability and that is why they make an effort to bring out the best in their reports. Most of the classes are also made very interactive with one or two short group discussions and debates in between. IBS also encourages research through several programs such as workshops, seminars and conferences and in a span of five years the faculty and the students

The case study method and the research activities both stimulate the creative side of the students making them gain the optimum learning experience. IBS makes it a point that every student is tended to well in terms of educational growth and improvement and that is why the institution takes every individual student's needs in consideration while preparing them for the industry and trains them accordingly. Students from the B school are placed in reputed organizations such as Goldman Sachs, Genpact and TCS.
