When Ms. Sonali, founder of Global Rabbee and a specialist in the area of early education, wanted to send her daughter to preschool,she found that the existing methodologies in the preschools around the country were inadequate and children were simply meant to while away their time. That was when she, decided to start her own preschool to provide the level of early age education that the kids of the country were missing out on. “Studies have proven that children who attend high quality preschools have richer vocabularies, higher self confidence and develop an all round personality,” reveals Sonali.

The founding of the chain of preschools is based on improving the inadequate early education ecosystem that exists in the country today. As Sonali explains that she noticed children in the European countries learn to read and write by the age of five where as,children in India who attend international schools possess excellent communication skills and children

who study under the CBSE board are well versed in writing. “In this scenario both groups of children in our country are missing out on either communication or writing ability, however, both are essential and important for the success of the child in the future.” That was when she collaborated with her friend and colleague, who runs a chain of preschools in California.In tandem, they created a curriculum that encompasses all the key areas of growth for a child and provides them with all the key skills that are required to be learnt at an early age. The brand, though a year old, has already started seven branches with over 120 kids studying in their preschools.

“There are five points that make Global Rabbee unique,”claims Sonali. CCTVs facilitate remote monitoring of kid sat preschools through a live watch feature for the parents.The preschool provides two sets of books – one for the school and one for parents so they are aware of what is being taught and can teach their kids on their own which is called the Home connection Books. Kids at Global Rabbee are educated at a very young age and taught to be multi lingual.

“There are kids who can speak in more than three languages already,” she reveals. The preschool employs social media to keep parents updated with the variety and magnitude of activities that their kids are being exposed to. To complete the cycle, parent-teacher meetings are held on a weekly basis to assess the child’s growth and to plan the future course of action. To elaborate Sonali divulges that there was a child admitted to one of her preschools who was physically and mentally challenged.Through their care and nourishment the boy went to be admitted in Prim-rose international, a reputed school in Chennai. The special care provided at the school is credited to their expert trainers.

The trainers at the Global Rabbee are carefully chosen to fit the requirements of the management. Upon being selected they under go intensive training on handling children, teaching and conducting activities. Weekly trainings are held to prepare a plan of action and to review the week’s work and to create an environment of growth, a best teacher award is given to the trainers on a monthly basis. The preschool maintains a healthy trainer to child ratio of 1:9.
