Located in Bangalore, Linden Montessori is renowned for its warm, wel coming atmosphere designed to help children reach their full potential. The school’s aim is not to fill a child with mere facts but to cultivate a child’s natural desire to learn and a love of learning.
The goal is to foster a space where children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and discover new things on their own, promoting creativity, organization, focus, and responsibility. Linden Montessori believes in continuous evolution and regularly updates its curriculum and activities to ensure a dynamic and responsive learning environment.
Holistic Development through the Montessori Curriculum
The curriculum at Linden Montessori is deeply rooted in the Montessori philosophy, where children are given the freedom to learn at their own pace. Unlike traditional schools, where all children are expected to learn the same thing at the same time, Linden Montessori encourages students to explore their individual interests and follow personalized learning paths. Each classroom is designed as a carefully structured environment that supports various areas of learning, including math, language, practical life skills, sensorial activities, and a reading corner.
Linden Montessori’s classrooms are designed to be highly stimulating and experiential, encouraging hands-on learning. The school emphasizes experiential and thinking-oriented education, as Stuti Mehrotra, Founder, believes that knowledge gained through experience stays with children longer and helps them connect more meaningfully with the real world.
Extending Learning beyond the Classroom
Beyond academics and various learnings, Linden Montessori places equal importance on extracurricular activities. Activities like yoga, dance, cooking and outdoor games, which make up 40 to 50 percent of the students’ time, offer opportunities for children to develop essential life skills and expand their learning in creative ways.
Yoga, introduced at an early age, helps foster focus and mindfulness, while cooking activities combine practical skills with math and science concepts.
Additionally, students engage in dance, organized games, and free play, ensuring a well-rounded education. For senior KG students, STEM labs encourage critical thinking and problem-solving, laying the groundwork for future skills in science and technology.
Dedicated & Passionate Faculty
While a thoughtfully designed curriculum is in place, its success depends largely on it’s implementation by educators. Linden Montessori places immense value on this aspect, investing heavily in the continuous development of its educators. The school hires educators who are either formally trained in early childhood education or have a genuine passion for nurturing young minds. The focus is not only on initial training but also on continuous professional growth throughout the year. After school hours, teachers dedicate time to refining their skills, practicing presentations, and engaging in collaborative brainstorming sessions.
Enriching Learning through Technology
The integration of technology at Linden Montessori further enhances students’ learning experience. In the STEM labs, technology is used with tools like PowerPoint presentations to guide children through the step-by step process of building models. This visual guidance improves under standing and keeping children engaged. Additionally, Linden Montessori’s YouTube channel features over 200 teacher-created videos, allowing children to revisit lessons, watch captivating stories, and even helping parents support learning at home.

Ensuring a Safe & Secure Learning Environment
Safety and security are paramount at Linden Montessori, with measures in place to ensure that every child is safe within the school environment. CCTV cameras are installed throughout the campus and on school buses, allowing staff to monitor and review activities for the safety of all students. Fire safety equipment is strategically placed across the school, and regular mock drills are conducted to teach children how to evacuate in case of an emergency. The school also conducts annual safety awareness sessions, such as good touch/bad touch, to ensure that children are well-prepared to respond to unsafe situations. Background checks and police verification are conducted for all staff members to further ensure the safety and security of the children.
Achievements & Future Roadmap
Linden Montessori has consistently earned recognition for its excellence in education over the past three years.
Looking ahead, the school is poised for growth and innovation. “Starting as a preschool, Linden Montessori has expanded into elementary education, now offering classes up to grade three. Plans are in place to extend the school through grade five in the near future,” says Stuti.
Furthermore, Linden Montessori aims to establish its own teacher training institute, contributing to the development of early childhood education and fostering a new generation of skilled educators.

“To parents of young children, rather than focusing on prestigious universities and colleges for the future, prioritize finding the best preschool for your child.Don’t just choose a preschool based on convenience or proximity, take the time to assess what the school offers. Safety should always be your top priority. Beyond that, look for one that focuses on imparting life skills. In this evolving landscape, children need to learn adaptability, problem-solving and other life skills to thrive. Remember, the first six years of a child’s life are critical for brain development. Providing them with the best environment during this formative stage will lay a strong foundation for their future growth and success”.
