Pro Vice Chancellor
Dr. O.P. Gupta is a highly regarded educational industry leader in India, with a career spanning over three decades. He began his journey in academics in 1992 with Banasthali Vidyapith, a world renowned university for women, and worked there for sixteen years before taking up the role of Assistant Registrar at a private university in Rajasthan. Since then, he has held several administrative positions at various reputed universities, including Dr. K.N. Modi University, ITM University, and Sangam University. In September 2022, he was appointed as the Pro Vice Chancellor of Shridhar University, Rajasthan, which is a testament to his expertise and leadership skills. Dr. Gupta has an in-depth knowledge of the statutory councils such as BCI, PCI, NCTE, CoA, and UGC, and has been involved in various inspections of UGC, PCI, BCI, NCTE, NAAC, NBA, NIRF, and IQAC, among others, in different universities. He has supervised and evaluated several Ph.D. theses, published around 30 research papers in national/international research journals, and delivered many key lectures in various seminars, webinars, conclaves, conferences, and mrore. His contribution to the field of education has been recognized with numerous awards, making him a well-respected figure in the academic community.

Dr. O.P. Gupta's primary objective and purpose for Shridhar University is to create an environment that prioritizes learning over curriculum and continuously provides academic support facilities such as laboratories, libraries, internet access, and extracurricular activities. He also aims to promote collaborative research, internships, and fellowships between the institute and industry for both students and faculty members. Dr. Gupta emphasizes the need to establish a healthy environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and excellence across all disciplines. Additionally, he is committed to providing valuebased education that promotes India's rich heritage, culture, and spirituality while nurturing the holistic personality development of all students.

Shridhar University is adopting powerful pedagogical approaches in the classroom based on the theme of NEP 2020. The teachers function as mentors or coaches to assist students in achieving their learning goals. The university also emphasizes collaboration among students, who work together using collective skills and expertise to achieve learning tasks. Furthermore, the team at Shridhar University provides training in updated skills in a range of trades to cater to Industry 4.0 requirements. The college has designed the curriculum with the consultation of industry and market experts to ensure that the students are well-equipped to meet the demands of the market.
Established in 2010 by the Legislative Assembly of Rajasthan, the university is located in the renowned ‘Shekhawati’ region of Rajasthan and covers over 60 acres of land. It has excellent connectivity to the national and state capitals and offers a range of programs at various levels such as PG, UG, diploma, certificate, and research leading up to Ph.D. Till date, the university has received several awards, including recognition as the Excellence in Emerging Digital University of the State and the representation of India at the UNESCO Secretariat's first meeting of the governing board on Mining-Engineering Education in 2019.

When questioned about what advice he’d give to individuals aspiring to be future education leaders, Dr. O.P. Gupta says, ‘I would like to advise the budding leaders to be good human beings and serve society with a positive attitude and give your best in the interest of the students and the universe. Education helps everyone to make a positive contribution towards the betterment of society. Education plays a key role in the overall development of individuals as well as the nation. It helps in the establishment of industries and businesses, thereby increasing employment opportunities, which in turn leads to the economic prosperity of the nation”.
