Equipped with 15 years of experience in Hotel Management & Catering Technology and having trained more than 10,000 students. M. L.Satish Kumarr & R. Suresh Kumar(CEOs of institutes based in Trichy & Coimbatore respectively) started Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management to train the needy poor students and provide 100 percent placement with free food and accommodation with hand some salary. Established in 2011, the institute provides Hotel Management & Catering technology courses and emphasizes on practical training of students.

With the cornerstone on creating a dynamic and effective learning environment, the institute conducts B.Sc., and one & two years Diploma courses in Catering & Hotel Management from Alagappa University(A+ NAAC accredited) and Centre for Technical and Occasional Development
Science(CTDS). Amirta –IIHMCT also provides two & three years Professional & Executive Diploma under IPD-OUM, Malaysia and two year diploma from Mega Tech College, Malaysia. Collaboration with Government of India & Tamil Nadu and approval from Indian University to run their courses has enabled the institute to provide international certifications in India. Students opting for course from Malaysia are encouraged to take the last semester at IPD-OUM, Malaysia along with IET (Industrial Exposure Training) for creating awareness on the global standards of hospitality. “We aim to give quality & international standard courses to all students at affordable cost and expand employment opportunities in the industry globally with attractive salary,” explains the duo.

Further the various theme-based projects like Pongal festival, Cake festival, Traditional food festival, Diwali and Onam festivals, Cocktail and Mocktail workshops, Thanthoori workshops
and Fire and Safety workshop conducted by the institute plays a pivotal role in honing their skills. This motivates students to think beyond the limits and widen their horizon on hospitality aspects. Amirta – IIHMCT emphasizes on practical sessions and encourages students to take up part time jobs with attractive salary while pursuing the course. The well qualified faculty members of the college guide, motivate and train students for placement training and ensure they are placed globally.

Believing that brand and quality will bring regular customers, Amirta – IIHMCT maintains 100 percent quality in courses and practical training.
