Aditya Engineering Colleges: Premier Promoter Of Quality Education

Dr. N. Sesha Reddy,ChairmanEngineering is one of the most lucrative and indemand career choices, with a variety of disciplines and job types. Not only is it a career option with a high package and opportunities, but also a bedrock for development, innovation, and evolution. Taking a deep dive into various engineering branches, it can be found that in the earlier era, engineering meant either Civil or Mechanical or Electrical, and interdisciplinary meant Electronics and Telecommunications. With the advent of new technologies, the boundaries between engineering branches are fast diminishing. Robotics engineering, Mining Engineering, Oil & Petroleum Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, and many more `not-so-popular' and unexplored domains today hold great scopes when taken as a profession. The options are so many and the number of engineering colleges is even more than that.

Now, the biggest concern is choosing the right institution in the branch of your choice. This is where students and their parents have a hard time. In an attempt to make the process of selecting the best engineering colleges seamless, we embarked on analyzing several colleges in the country. Based on crucial parameters like quality of education, research output, inputs of faculty members, and more, Aditya Engineering College deserves a place in this recognition.

Established in the year 2001, Aditya Engineering College is brought to you by Aditya Academy, Kakinada. Aditya Academy has three colleges under its umbrella, namely - Aditya Engineering College (Autonomous), Aditya College of Engineering and Technology (NAAC), and Aditya College of Engineering (NAAC). Approved by AICTE and affiliated with JNTUK, Aditya Engineering College offers 10 UG engineering programs and 8 PG Programs in Engineering, MCA, MBA, and one integrated MBA program.

keeping with the Outcome-based Education (OBE) philosophy, the Aditya Engineering College promotes a learner-centered approach. The college follows a systematic procedure to support slow learners and enhance the skills of advanced learners. "Each student is given personal attention during their course of study," remarks Dr. N. Sesha Reddy, Chairman.

Every department supervises the academic performance of the student and also keeps track of each student's personal well-being. "The proctors and the course instructors interact with each student and counsel them for their academic growth. Through these measures, the institute is consistently securing gold medals at university-level examinations. More emphasis is given to the employability of students. The learnercentric approach provided students a free hand in learning. Students have shown considerable improvement in their overall performance. This resulted in a significant increase in the placement when compared with the previous academic year," he informs.

Beyond Academics
Aditya Engineering College believes that learning is not just confined to the classroom. The college encourages students to participate in various co-curricular activities like conferences, workshops, hackathons, appons, and project development to help students acquire communication skills, presentation skills, and interpersonal skills and enable them to work in teams.

The institute focuses to instill principles and attitudes of service in the hearts and minds of students. Based on this belief, it engages in a variety of outreach programs in the surrounding community. Through the National Service Scheme (NSS) the college focuses on the well-being of the neighborhood community, raises awareness of their social concerns, and takes the required steps to improve the overall well-being of the community. "These social outreach programs have had a significant impact on the overall development of students as they are exposed to a diverse range of people from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds," he shares.

With state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities for the teaching-learning process, the institute offers some of the most popular programs in engineering and management powered by skill development and research opportunities.

The institute has research centers in the departments of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering and aims to establish centers across all departments. The institute focuses on employability for all eligible graduates and has set a great placements record; tremendously increasing over the years with students getting placements in well-established Multi-National companies.

Currently, Aditya Engineering College is preparing for the second cycle of accreditation for NAAC. The institute aims to accredit all its UG programs to NBA. In the long term, it aspires to attain the status of `Deemed to be University.'
