Courses to Bridge the Skill Gap

SCET made a humble beginning in the year 2001 with an intake of 180 seats in three UG programmes. However, with a great dedication toward the industry and a determined vision to provide the society with a center of learning in technical education and research that motivates the students to evolve into dynamic professionals SCET became a hub of technological education with six UG and seven PG programmes with the present intake of 1050 seats. Under its UG programmes, the institution offers courses namely Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology.

While empowering students to pursue higher studies in various domains, SCET offers M.Tech. courses in VLSI System Design, Computer Science & Engineering, CAD/CAM, Power Electronics, Nanotechnology, Structural Engineering along with Master of Computer Applications and Master of

The institution has been continuously striving to keep the students abreast of latest technologies by revising its curriculum from time-to-time. This ragging free campus also incorporates all latest technologies like digital class rooms, Wi-Fi enabled campus, state-of-the-art laboratories, 2000 high-end computers & nine servers, and many more. These help bridge the gap between the industry & academia. SCET also houses a well stocked library armed with 6249 Titles, 41110 volumes, 43 print journals, along with 265 online journals.

In addition to this, SCET's Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) administers quality management strategies in all the academic and administrative aspects. Having a tie-up with several training organizations like IBM-CE, Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Academy (APITA), Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), Dassault Systems Lab, IOT Incubation Center, Nano Technology Research Lab, IndoGerman Collaboration ARC Lab, and having signed MOU with Lincoln University, Malaysia as well, the institute’s inhouse training & placement cell takes utmost care to groom students according to the needs of the industry and helps them to get place in premier companies. Supporting & encouraging research & entrepreneurial initiatives, SCET has helped a few of its students to develop their own games and earn from it.

Holistic Development Approach

Focusing at the holistic development of the students, the institution gives due weight age to extracurricular activities like sports & games and conducts various literary & cultural competitions at regular intervals. It also motivates students to participate in various co-curricular activities like paper presentations, research publications and more, along with involving them in gaming, Gokart and other competitions.
