Keeping students at the center of all decision making, IES undertakes several initiatives for their overall development starting from associating with premium universities/colleges/corporates to participating in national & international level game/debate/article writing competitions. On one hand, the institute associates with college under the AICTE MARGDARSHAN scheme(CoE subject experts visit IES as guest lecturers), on the other, it has signed MOUs with several corporates & learning institutions(Metropolitian Institute, IBM for Software Excellence Centre, NITTTR & IIT Bombay remote centre for training modules
and NASSCOM for employ ability enhancement program). Further more, IES maintains many hobby clubs & organizational memberships, and conducts cultural fests for mentoring& entertainment. No wonder, the college is selected by Stanford University, US for study of outcome of the engineering education among 35 engineering colleges in the country.

The Placement Aficionado

Taking employability seriously, IES conducts regular training & placement classes which emphasize on the overall grooming of candidates by developing their programming, communications, soft and interview skills, personality, and enhancing their professional effectiveness. It invites visiting faculties and industrial experts to impart relevant knowledge and share their experiences, thereby transforming the student into industry ready professionals. With such comprehensive approach, IES boasts of having placed 2632 students across 347 companies(Wipro, NIIT, Zensar Technologies, Cognizant, Persistent Systems and many more) since inception via in & off campus drives and job fairs with packages to the tune of Rs.13 lakh per annum. “We will work on quality education and will collaborate with industry and foreign university to better opportunity in future,” adds Dr. Sunita Singh, Group Director, IES College of Technology.

Giving Back to the World

With the cornerstone on creating ecofriendly learning environment, IES crafted first green college building in MP with 100 KW solar power plant and proper waste management. It performs random checks to ascertain every one puts in best efforts to keep the premises spic n span. The fusion of quality education, experienced professionals and state of the art infrastructure not only ranked IES third in Best Value for Money college by India Today (June 2018) but also facilitated it with prestigious awards like Best IT Infrastructure Institute in the state(CMAI), and Gold Awards(IGBC)to name a few.

The college has also adopted adopted five villages and undertakes various developmental activities like organizing Gram Sabha at all adopted villages to know their problems and take students to resolve them. Going the extra mile, the college initiated AICTE PMKVY Skill development program to train uneducated people and distributed sewing machines among village women to start their own business.
